The Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) will host its first Student Professional Development Conference on Saturday, March 24, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Bulger Communication Center, in commemoration of EOP's 40th anniversary. This free one-day symposium is open to all students who are interested in pursuing a career and/or graduate school. The purpose of this program is to educate students about the various resources available to them so they are better prepared for graduate school and job opportunities. The conference includes a keynote session and an array of workshops that include Graduate School Preparation and Funding; Law School / Medical School Preparation; Career: Negotiating your Salary; Job Searching; Interviewing Techniques; Dressing for Success; Resumes and Vitas; and Resources: Campus and Community.
